The National Weather Service in Albany has extended the
* Flood Warning for...
Central Warren County in east central New York...
* Until 1000 AM EST Wednesday
* At 946 AM EST, emergency management continues to report flooding
along Route 418 between Thurman and Warrensburg, along River Road
in Thurman and along Warrensburg Stony Creek Road at the bottom of
Cameron Road. The flooding was due to an ice jam along the Hudson
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Warrensburg, Thurman Station, and Athol.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

* WHAT...Freezing rain and sleet expected this afternoon into
early Tuesday morning. Total ice accumulations of a few
hundredths to a tenth of an inch are expected. Sleet
accumulations of less than a half an inch.
* WHERE...Hamilton, Northern Washington and Warren Counties in
east central New York, as well as southern Vermont including
Bennington and Windham Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in very slippery
conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges, including during
