...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Snow occurring. Heavy snow and blowing snow expected
this afternoon through Sunday. Total snow accumulations of 8
to 14 inches are expected. Gusty winds this evening through
Sunday morning will cause blowing and drifting snow and poor
visibility.

* WHERE...Highway 2 Kalispell to Libby, Highway 37 Eureka to
Libby, Highway 56 Bull Lake Road, and Highway 93 Eureka to
Whitefish.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 11 AM this morning
to 5 PM MST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to
impossible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will cause areas
of blowing and drifting snow. Trees branches may fall. The
cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite
on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or

* WHAT...Periods of moderate to heavy snowfall. Backcountry travel
will be very difficult to impossible with an increased threat of
avalanches. Additional snow accumulations of 8 to 14 inches
expected.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
visibility at times. Cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero
tonight and Monday will cause frostbite in as little as 30
minutes to exposed skin.

* WHERE...Eastern Carbon, Northern Park, Paradise Valley and
Livingston Area.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Monday. Snow may lighten up some this
morning before increasing again by this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
times. Cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero tonight and
Monday will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to
